This is the Aurora Housing Authority’s Contact page designed to aid in communication with The Aurora Housing Authority. Please note that response times vary and we recommend that you visit our FAQs page if you have general inquiries before you submit a contact request because your question may already be answered there. Below is a contact form for you to reach out to The AHA for your specific needs. We do our best to reply promptly but please allow a 24 hour time frame, or 1 business day, to receive a response to your email. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
Communication
Public Comments at Board Meetings:
If you wish to comment at our Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting, please submit an email to info@auroraha.org or contact the Housing Authority by phone, no later than 5 business days prior to the regularly scheduled Board Meeting, to request to be placed on the agenda for the meeting. You will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to speak at the meeting. If your request is related to a complaint please ensure that you have followed all applicable AHA policies and procedures prior to requesting to be placed on the agenda, as any request that has not properly progressed through the AHA complaint process will not be granted. If you have any questions regarding the proper procedure for having concerns addressed, please contact the AHA main office or speak with your property manager.
FOIA Requests:
All requests for information under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) should be directed to FOIA@auroraha.org.

We encourage you to register for the MyHousing Portal.
You will need your applicant confirmation number or the Entity ID # in order to register and access the MyHousing Portal.

With MyHousing Portal, applicants are able to log in through an online portal and have full control of their progress. Future tenants are able to view relevant information over a secure login, including their waiting list position, days on waiting list and current status. Individuals can also request changes, such as changes in address, phone numbers, and family composition.
